Behind SAVES

logo saves is a project launched in 2020 from the University of Vigo, developed with the support of the Eusumo Network. Eusumo is a collaborative network promoted by the General Secretariat for Employment Support, Autonomous Work and Social Economy of the Ministry of Promotion of Employment and Equality of the Xunta de Galicia for the promotion of cooperativism and the social economy, which has the funding of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.

The people in charge of implementing and coordinating SAVES are María José Cabaleiro Casal and Carlos Iglesias Malvido, from the University of Vigo, two researchers with extensive and recognized experience in the study of cooperativism. Since 2024, the SAVES team has been expanded with the addition to this project by researcher Andrea Martínez Salgueiro, also from the University of Vigo.

At the beginning of the project, the contributions of Jana Pérez Pérez and Belén Lemos García were essential, both with training and professional experience in cooperativism.
